KS2 Teacher - Outstanding School

Wayman Education is working with a vibrant and fun primary school seeking a proactive and emotionally intelligent KS2 teacher/Leader of Maths from September 2024.

This fantastic primary school is searching for an outstanding KS2 teacher with the skills and drive to lead Mathematics across the entire school starting in September. This is a significant leadership position, and the successful applicant will join the school's extended leadership team. Strong communication, analytical abilities, and the capacity to teach a fun-loving Year 4 or 5 class are essential. Only exceptional, experienced KS2 teachers will be considered for this permanent full-time position.

The children are hardworking, caring, inquisitive, and imaginative. The staff aim to develop well-rounded, confident pupils through a supportive pastoral environment. We seek a primary teacher who can drive attainment and create engaging lessons.

Responsibilities of a KS2 Teacher:

  • Responsible for the pastoral care of children, promoting teamwork, and fostering a conducive learning environment.
  • Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum, focusing on individual learning targets, strengths, and weaknesses.
  • Further developing maths skills, including fractions, statistics, and geometry.
  • Tracking children's progress and reporting to parents.
