Job description

This school is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to pupils in Years 3–6, helping them to achieve their full potential in a safe and stimulating environment. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as KS2 Teacher:

1. Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum
2. Assess and monitor pupil progress, using data to inform planning and interventions
3. Create a positive classroom climate that promotes curiosity, confidence, and independence
4. Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to whole-school improvement initiatives
5. Maintain accurate records and liaise with parents and carers effectively
6. Uphold and model the school’s values, promoting high standards of behaviour and learning

Ideal KS2 Teacher:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (NQTs/Early Career Teachers welcome to apply)
3. Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
4. Ability to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils of all abilities
5. Excellent organisational and communication skills as a KS2 Teacher
6. A team player with a positive, reflective, and proactive attitude
