Job summary

All Saints Academy Darfield invites applications for a KS2 Teacher on a fixed-term maternity cover, part-time (3 days per week: Wednesday to Friday).

You will deliver engaging lessons, build strong reading and phonics knowledge, and help pupils make rapid progress. A supportive team, a well-resourced environment, and opportunities for development are offered. The post starts 4 November 2026 and ends 25 March 2027.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to teach KS2 across core subjects.
• Strong reading and phonics knowledge for KS2 learners.
• Ability to plan engaging lessons and track pupil progress.

Responsibilities

• Teach KS2 pupils with engaging, well-prepared lessons.
• Monitor and support rapid pupil progress and learning outcomes.
• Contribute to a positive school environment and school life.

About this Role

We welcome, as part of our team in Key Stage Two, a self-motivated and enthusiastic teacher who is committed to bringing imaginative ideas into the classroom and have high aspirations for all children. Confidence and resilience are the key strengths that we are looking for in all our staff. This position is not suitable for ECT's.

This role is 3 days per week, Wednesday to Friday, fixed term starting in November 2026 until March 2027.
