• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
• Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning
• Work closely with the class teacher and SEN staff to follow individual support plans
• Support pupils during transitions and throughout the school day
• Maintain a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Observe and share information regarding pupil progress and well-being
• Uphold safeguarding, welfare, and health and safety responsibilities at all times

The KS2 SEND Teaching Assistant will support pupils with additional needs within a Key Stage 2 setting, helping them access learning, regulate emotions, and build independence. Duties as KS2 SEND Teaching Assistant:
