Job summary

Cert Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic Special School in Oldbury, who are seeking a dedicated SEN Class Teacher to join their team. This role is full-time in a KS2 setting, requiring QTS and experience in SEN/Special School environments with pupils who have SLD or complex needs.

The candidate will plan, deliver and assess differentiated lessons, prepare resources, and work closely with support staff to provide stability and structure for learners with additional needs.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS.
• Has previous experience working within an SEN/Special School.
• Experience supporting pupils with SLD or complex learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging, differentiated lessons.
• Prepare resources and learning activities for each session.
• Assess, mark and track pupil progress over time.
• Work closely with support staff and the wider school team.
• Provide consistency, structure and continuity for pupils.
