Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher for a full-time role in Barnsley, starting after the October half-term. The school highlights modern facilities, strong mentoring, and supportive planning.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or UK-recognised equivalent.
• Proven track record teaching within Key Stage 2 in a UK primary school.

Responsibilities

• Structure, plan and deliver differentiated KS2 lessons across core and foundation subjects.
• Use assessment data to stretch high achievers and scaffold SEND/EAL learners.
• Prepare pupils for KS2 milestones while fostering curiosity and resilience.
• Maintain an organised, high-trust classroom climate with high expectations.
• Collaborate with support staff and subject leads on targeted interventions.
• Communicate progress with parents and carers regularly.
