Job summary

Teach Plus with a welcoming Tower Hamlets primary school is seeking a Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher to start January 2027.

You will deliver engaging KS2 lessons, assess pupil progress, and adapt teaching to meet varying needs while building strong relationships with pupils and colleagues.

This full-time role offers a collaborative, inclusive environment in inner London and opportunities to support a diverse learner group.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification is essential.
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Excellent planning, assessment and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to differentiate lessons and support diverse abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Adapt teaching to meet pupils' individual needs and abilities
• Assess, monitor and record pupil progress
• Identify gaps in learning and implement appropriate interventions
• Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour and achievement
• Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
• Work closely with Teaching Assistants and colleagues
• Communicate with parents and carers where appropriate
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development
