KS2 Primary Teacher – Year 5 – Bournemouth, Dorset

Are you ready to inspire the next generation of thinkers, dreamers, and doers? If so,GSL Education are currently seeking a full-time KS2 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Bournemouth. This full-time role is for a Year 5 class, starting this September 2025.

School happy to consider Early Careers Teachers alongside more experienced teachers. A school tour is available before being invited back to the school for a more formal interview process. Interviews are to take place over the next few weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching to a Year 5 class, following the national curriculum.
• Plan, prepare, and assess engaging and differentiated lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and senior leaders to maximise pupil progress.
• Uphold the school’s ethos and contribute to its wider community and activities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
• The school welcomes applications from both Early Careers Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators.
• Willingness to attend a school tour and formal interview as part of the selection process.
