Start Date: ASAP
Daily Rate: £90 – £100 per day
Contract Type: Full-time, Term Time Only

Elevate Supply is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Selly Oak to appoint a Teaching Assistant to deliver targeted intervention support in KS2.This full-time role starts immediately and is ideal for someone confident in supporting pupils in Years 3–6 who need extra help with core skills in Literacy and Numeracy.

The Role
You’ll support small groups and individual pupils outside the classroom, focusing on developing fluency in reading, writing, and maths.Interventions will be tailored to pupil needs and may include guided reading, writing structure, SPaG, and number or calculation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver focused intervention sessions in Literacy and Numeracy for KS2 pupils

Track and report on progress, adapting support as needed

Support pupils in building independence, motivation, and confidence

Liaise with class teachers and the SENCO to align support with curriculum goals

Maintain a calm, inclusive learning environment

What We’re Looking For

Experience supporting KS2 pupils in English and/or Maths

Confident delivering 1:1 and small group interventions

Understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A proactive and flexible approach to classroom support
