Job summary

Archibald First School in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support KS2 pupils. You will work alongside teaching staff in Year 3, supporting learning activities and SEN interventions, with occasional one-to-one support.

Qualifications

• Experience in KS2 and supporting children with SEN.
• Creative, proactive teaching approach and energy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Organised, motivated and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning activities in the classroom.
• Work with Year 3 and possibly Year 2 pupils.
• Assist with intervention programs for children with SEN.
• Provide one-to-one support when required.
