Job summary

Reed Education is recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded primary school in the Doncaster area for an experienced KS2 HLTA. The role focuses on delivering PE and foundation subjects across KS2, with no planning and no teaching of core subjects.

You will lead whole-class sessions, support pupils to stay engaged and build positive relationships with staff and parents. This position offers competitive daily pay (£120+ per day) and a potential permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Holds a recognised HLTA qualification or relevant HLTA experience.
• Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
• Confident leading whole-class teaching sessions.
• Ability to deliver high-quality PE and foundation subject lessons.
• Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• Organised, proactive and adaptable to different year groups.
• Brings energy, creativity and enthusiasm into the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PE lessons across KS2.
