Job summary

The Education Network is seeking a Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant in Wolverhampton to support KS2 pupils with focused interventions and rapid progression. You’ll work with Years 3–6 to deliver targeted catch-up sessions in reading, writing and maths, pre-teach key content, and help pupils apply strategies independently.

Ideal candidates communicate clearly, stay organised, and welcome guidance from experienced staff.

Qualifications

• Degree: 2:2 or above in any subject.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Enhanced DBS – Held already or willingness to obtain.
• Desire to work in education with KS2 progress and inclusion.
• Experience with children (tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver focused catch-up sessions in reading, writing and maths for Years 3–6.
• Prepare lean resources and track progress with sharp notes.
• Coordinate with class teachers after each cycle to plan next steps.
