Job summary

East Huntspill Primary School, part of Pathway Trust, invites applications for a permanent 0.8 FTE class teacher for Years 4–6. The role centers on planning lessons to meet individual needs, building phonics and numeracy, and helping pupils reach age-related expectations within the National Curriculum.

Qualified KS2 teachers are preferred; ECTs are welcome. Start date is 1 January 2027. Visa sponsorship is not available. You will join a supportive trust team with CPD and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Ability to plan lessons meeting individual learning needs.
• Experience in Key Stage 2 preferred; ECTs welcome.

Responsibilities

• Teach a mixed Year 4, 5 and 6 class.
• Plan lessons that meet individual learning needs.
• Support every child to meet and exceed age-related expectations.
