Job summary

Teach Plus is working with a welcoming primary school in Hounslow to recruit a dedicated KS2 Teacher for a part-time position starting in November 2026. You will share a Year 4 class, collaborating on planning, preparation and assessments with a partner teacher.

The successful candidate will have QTS and KS2 experience, strong curriculum knowledge, and an Enhanced DBS. The role offers a supportive environment and a fixed three-day week (Wednesday to Friday).

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent qualification.
• Experience as KS2 teacher or in a similar role.
• Strong subject/curriculum knowledge relevant to the role.
• Enhanced DBS with Update Service.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities.
• Assess, monitor and record pupil progress, using assessment information to inform planning and support academic development.
• Establish and maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes effective learning, good behaviour and pupil confidence.
• Adapt teaching strategies and resources to support pupils with additional learning needs and ensure inclusive classroom practice.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants and school leaders to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
• Contribute to pupils' wider development by encouraging independence, resilience, positive relationships and a strong attitude towards learning.
