Job summary

St Martin’s CE Primary School in York is seeking a passionate class teacher to teach Upper Key Stage 2, sharing Class 4 responsibilities with the Head of School. This post is not suitable for ECTs and is fixed term due to budget constraints.

The role is 13 hours per week (Mon and Tue) with federation collaboration and leadership opportunities across two/three sites. The school offers a supportive staff team and a vibrant learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience and background in teaching Upper Key Stage 2.
• Not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) at this time.
• Shared teaching responsibilities for Class 4 with Head of School.

Responsibilities

• Teach Upper Key Stage 2 and share Class 4 teaching with Head of School.
• Collaborate with federation schools and leadership teams.
• Deliver engaging lessons and support pupil excellence.
