Job summary

East Huntspill Primary School in Highbridge, Somerset, seeks a KS2 Teacher (0.8 FTE) to join a Year 4–6 class from 1 January 2027. The role is part-time during term time, with Mondays to Thursdays teaching across a mixed KS2 cohort.

You will plan engaging lessons, promote high expectations with warmth, and support pupils to build confidence in phonics and numeracy. Collaborative teamwork and adherence to school policies are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching a KS2 class (Years 4–6) and planning lessons.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and phonics.
• ICT proficient with confident use of classroom tech.
