Job summary

Yapton C of E Primary School in Yapton is seeking an exceptional KS2 class teacher to cover maternity leave on a part-time basis. The role focuses on inspiring pupils, maintaining high expectations and delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 2 in a welcoming church-school environment.

You will work 0.6 FTE (19.5 hours per week) over Monday to Wednesday, with strong pastoral and collaborative teamwork with staff, governors and families.

Qualifications

• Outstanding classroom teacher who can inspire, motivate and challenge pupils.
• Experience of teaching in a primary school (including placements).
• Has high expectations for children’s progress and attainment.
• Confident in adapting teaching to respond to strengths and needs of pupils.
