Job summary

Brackenwood Junior School is seeking an enthusiastic, committed Teacher to join our dedicated team from November 2026. You will deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across Key Stage 2 (Years 3–6) and contribute to a positive, collaborative learning environment.

We value strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues, a focus on SEN where needed, and ongoing professional development within Oak Trees Multi Academy Trust.

Qualifications

• Deliver engaging, creative and high-quality teaching across Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6).
• Plan, prepare and assess learning to ensure all pupils make good progress.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where children feel safe, valued and motivated to learn.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of how to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Use assessment effectively to identify next steps and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including supporting pupils at external competitions, which may occasionally take place after school.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm, flexibility and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
