Job summary

Academics is recruiting a KS2 Class Teacher for a welcoming primary school in St Albans, starting September 2026. The role offers opportunities for professional development, career progression and a supportive environment that values pupil achievement and staff wellbeing.

Your Role

As a KS2 Class Teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to create a classroom where children are inspired to learn, encouraged to ask questions and supported to achieve their goals.

You’ll plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the curriculum, adapting your teaching to meet the needs of individual pupils and creating an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.

Working closely with colleagues across Key Stage 2, you’ll contribute to curriculum development, share ideas and play an active role in the wider life of the school and help pupils grow in the education and training environment.
