Job summary

Springhead Primary School in Anlaby is seeking a dedicated Child Support Assistant to support Key Stage 2. The role is term-time, 21.25 hours per week (9.00am – 1.15pm, Mon-Fri), with salary at grade 3B pro rata (£13,110–£13,320 per year). Fixed term to 31 August 2026, with start January 2027.

The successful candidate will help children engage with learning, support social interactions, and apply strong behaviour management. DBS checks will be required; contact Wendy Randerson for informal chat.

Qualifications

• Dedicated, calm and supportive, with a commitment to helping children engage with learning.
• Strong behaviour management skills within a classroom setting are essential.
• Interest in or experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEND).
