Academics Ltd, on behalf of a Merthyr primary school, is seeking a Welsh Language KS1 Teacher for a long-term placement starting November 2026.

The successful candidate will be fluent in Welsh, deliver the KS1 curriculum to a high standard, and join a school with onsite parking and a supportive SLT.

Essential checks include enhanced DBS with Update Service, EWC registration, and two teaching references; salary is determined by qualifications and experience, with weekly pay from £865.

Are you a Welsh Medium Teacher looking for a new role at a Merthyr primary school? Are you a qualified Teacher wanting a new role for the summer term? If so, please read on as we might have the ideal role for you.

We are currently recruiting for a Teacher with a track record in a KS1 class, to begin working at a lovely Merthyr primary school from September 2026. The school has onsite parking, a supportive SLT and is always popular with our Teachers who have worked there.

What we need

• An enhanced DBS check (essential) which is subscribed to the DBS Update Service (desirable)
