Job summary

Randstad Education in Manchester is seeking a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils in the classroom. You will assist with guided reading, help implement activities from the national curriculum, and contribute to a calm, supportive learning environment.

The role is full-time, five days a week, with hours 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. An enhanced DBS on the update service and eligibility to work in the UK are required; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–6 months of experience working with children.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service.
• Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).
• Be committed to achieving high standards of teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Guided reading sessions with small groups following the national curriculum.
• Help teachers plan learning activities and complete records.
• Support teachers in managing class behaviour.
