Job summary

Windsor Primary School Setting is seeking a passionate KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming, supportive team from September on a full-time or part-time basis, with pay placed on the MPS/UPS spine.

The role focuses on delivering engaging KS1 literacy, numeracy and phonics lessons, differentiating for diverse learners, and tracking pupil progress to target improvements. You will work with teaching assistants and families to build confidence and a love of learning.

Qualifications

  • QTS desirable and KS1 teaching experience.
  • Strong knowledge of KS1 curriculum and phonics.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
  • Effective communication and teamwork.
  • Commitment to inclusive, pupil-centred teaching.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver KS1 lessons that are creative, differentiated, and aligned to the KS1 curriculum.
  • Support pupils progress in reading, writing, phonics, and maths.
  • Create an inclusive, positive classroom environment that fosters confidence and curiosity.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress and use data to inform targeted interventions.
  • Support children with a range of abilities, including those with SEN.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and the wider school team.
