Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a KS1 Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Sheffield to start on 8th June 2026. The role is full-time with temporary/permanent prospects depending on school needs. The successful candidate will deliver engaging KS1 lessons and create a positive, inclusive classroom where every child can thrive.

The post requires QTS, KS1 experience and an Enhanced DBS. You will join a supportive team, collaborate with staff and parents, and contribute to ongoing pupil development

Qualifications

• QTS is a must.
• Experience teaching within KS1 is required.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons across the KS1 curriculum.
• Foster a safe, supportive and stimulating learning environment.
• Assess, monitor and support pupil progress effectively.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and support staff.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and safeguarding procedures.
