Job summary

Milk Education are seeking a passionate KS1 Class Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Nottingham on a long-term basis, starting in September 2026. The role suits an experienced Primary Teacher or an Early Career Teacher who aims to inspire younger pupils and foster a positive classroom environment.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging KS1 lessons, build strong pupil relationships, and work with colleagues to support academic, social, and emotional development.

Qualifications

• QTS and recent primary teaching experience.
• Experience teaching KS1 is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Teach a KS1 class across the curriculum with engaging lessons.
• Plan, deliver, and assess age-appropriate learning experiences.
• Differentiate lessons to meet diverse needs and support SEND pupils.
• Monitor pupil progress and use data to inform planning.
• Support safeguarding procedures and build positive relationships with pupils and parents.
