Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a qualified KS1 Teacher for a three-form entry primary school in Greenford, West London, starting January 2027. The post is full-time and long-term temporary, with duties including planning and delivering KS1 lessons and supporting reading, writing and maths development.

The school operates from a modern building with high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour. Applicants should have QTS, KS1 experience (Year 1 or 2), and a commitment to safeguarding

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• Experience teaching in KS1, Year 1 or Year 2 preferred.
• Strong understanding of early reading, phonics, writing and maths.
• Confident in managing behaviour and establishing routines.
• Ability to plan, assess and adapt teaching to support pupil progress.
• Collaborative approach and safeguarding commitment.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons aligned to the curriculum.
• Support pupils' reading, writing and mathematics development.
• Use effective teaching strategies to meet diverse needs and support progress.
• Establish consistent classroom routines and high behaviour expectations.
• Assess pupil learning and inform future planning.
• Create an inclusive, safe classroom where pupils can learn.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the phase and maintain records.
