Job summary

The Education Network Durham are looking for a Key Stage 1 Teacher to work in one of partner schools in Durham. This position is open to both Newly Qualified Teachers and Experienced Teachers.

The ideal candidate should have the required QTS and be prepared for immediate registration appointments. The role includes delivering planned KS1 lessons, maintaining high standards, and contributing to school success. A DBS check and references are essential as part of our Safer Recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Must have a relevant teaching degree with QTS.
• Two satisfactory references covering the last 2 years including a child care reference.
• Satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
• Recent experience in a school teaching KS1.
• Commitment to the continued success of both pupils and the school.
• Confidence in delivering planned KS1 lessons.

Responsibilities

• Deliver KS1 lessons to a high standard.
• Support pupil progress and welfare in the KS1 cohort.
