This is an exciting time to join Clifford Road Primary School. We are looking to appoint a KS1 Teacher to join our dedicated and supportive team at Clifford Road and to help us make a meaningful difference to the pupils and their community. This role is well suited to an experienced KS1 practitioner or an ECT.

Qualifications And Experience

We would like to hear from you if you have:

• KS1 experience
• a proven track record of recent and successful class teaching in KS1
• successful experience of teaching the primary curriculum
• good understanding of current theory and best practice in teaching and learning, particularly as it relates to achieving high rates of progress of children of primary age
• good subject knowledge of core National Curriculum
• experience supporting pupils who speak English as an additional language
• a strong knowledge of the teaching of Early Reading
• strong communication skills and have experience of working collaboratively.

We are a 2-form entry school with 413 pupils on roll and 23 children in our nursery at the heart of the vibrant town of Ipswich.
