Job summary

Aspire People Limited is seeking a KS1 teacher for a part-time role in Hinckley, working three days per week from Christmas until Easter. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons across English, Maths, Science and foundation subjects, supporting pupils to develop essential skills in a positive learning environment.

Applicants should hold Qualified Teacher Status, have at least 2 years of UK teaching experience, and hold an enhanced DBS.

Qualifications

• Up‑to‑date knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.
• Qualified teacher status is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons aligned to the KS1 National Curriculum (English, Maths, Science and foundation subjects).
• Support early learning, fostering literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
• Create a positive learning environment that builds curiosity, creativity, confidence and independence.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress and tailor support or extension as needed.

WHAT WOULD THE ROLE INVOLVE?

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum, covering subjects such as English, Maths, Science and foundation subjects.
• Supporting early learning and development, helping pupils build essential literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
• Creating a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, confidence and independence.
• Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, identifying areas where additional support or further challenge may be needed.
