Are you a passionate and creative KS1 Teacher looking for a part-time role that fits your lifestyle?

GSL Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Key Stage 1 Teacher to work 2 days a week at a primary school in Heathfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young learners while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and curiosity.
• Assess pupil progress and adapt lessons to meet individual needs.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and staff to support all learners.
• Uphold school policies on safeguarding, behaviour, and pupil wellbeing.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate young learners.
• An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
