Position: KS1 Class Teacher (Year 1 or Year 2)
Location: Newham, East London
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Permanent / Long-Term
Salary: MPS/UPS – Inner London

Are you a passionate and nurturing KS1 Primary Teacher looking for a new full-time role this September? A friendly and inclusive primary school in Newham is seeking a dedicated teacher to join their Key Stage 1 team and help young learners flourish in their crucial early years of education.

The Role:

  • Working collaboratively with phase leaders and support staff

  • Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching to support all learners

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (Year 1 or Year 2)

  • A strong grasp of the KS1 curriculum, including phonics (e.g., Little Wandle, Read Write Inc.)

  • A nurturing and positive approach to classroom management

  • High expectations for all pupils and a belief in every child’s potential
