Job summary

Link3 Recruitment is seeking adaptable KS1 Supply Teachers for Year 1 and Year 2 to work across Coventry and surrounding areas in partnership with local primaries and MATs. QTS is required, with strong Phonics knowledge and SATs preparation.

We offer daily, short-term, and long-term cover opportunities, with immediate start. You will deliver engaging lessons, support targeted learning, and manage class progress using formative and summative assessments. DBS Enhanced is required.

Qualifications

• QTS required with KS1 experience.
• Experience in Year 2, Phonics, and SATs preparation.
• Ability to use formative and summative assessment for planning.
• Strong behaviour management and inclusive teaching approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, creative KS1 lessons.

The Role – KS1 Supply Teacher (Year 1 & Year 2):

We are looking for

Qualified Teachers (QTS required) who can deliver high-quality, creative, and structured lessons in

Key Stage 1 – particularly in

Phonics,

Reading, and

SATs preparation for Year 2. Roles include

day-to-day cover,

short-term contracts,

longer-term placements including

Maternity and Sickness cover.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with recent experience in

KS1, particularly

Year 2

• Be confident with
• Phonics screening (e.g. Letters & Sounds, Read Write Inc., Jolly Phonics or similar)
• Have experience preparing and supporting pupils for
• Year 2 SATs in Reading, Writing, SPaG and Maths
• formative and summative assessment to inform planning and progress tracking
• behaviour management and a nurturing approach
• Be adaptable, enthusiastic, and committed to
• inclusive teaching that supports all learners, including those with EAL and SEND
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff alike
