Job summary

justteachers is partnering with a village primary school on the outskirts of Coventry to recruit a KS1 Teacher for a long-term supply role starting September 2026. The post emphasizes care, creativity, and curiosity within a warm, supportive environment where every child is valued.

You will deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate KS1 lessons, helping pupils build literacy, numeracy, and social skills, while monitoring progress and adapting to individual needs in a mixed-ability class.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teaching Status or equivalent.
• Proven experience in Primary Education.
• A minimum of two references covering the past two years, including last employer, ideally education/school-based references.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events and enrichment activities
