Job summary

Reeson Education are seeking a dedicated KS1 Primary Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Stockport. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons for Year 1 and Year 2, focusing on literacy and maths.

This role offers immediate start, flexible full-time/part-time/long-term contracts, with a daily pay range of £142-£212 depending on experience. Reeson Education provide ongoing support throughout recruitment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• Experience teaching KS1 (Year 1/2) preferred.
• Strong understanding of KS1 curriculum and early literacy/numeracy.
• Excellent planning, assessment and classroom management skills.
• Ability to adapt lessons to diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons in line with the primary curriculum.
• Develop pupils' phonics, reading, writing, and maths skills.
• Differentiate learning to meet varying abilities.
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Establish routines and promote positive behaviour.
• Support pupil development of confidence and teamwork.
