Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting a Primary KS1 Teacher to join a school in Salford on a day-to-day, short-term or long-term basis. You will join a welcoming and progressive school focused on creating a love of learning and helping pupils develop confidence from an early age.

This is a great opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced teacher to become a familiar face in a school where engaging teaching, positive relationships and strong foundations for learning are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Recent experience teaching within a primary school setting, ideally KS1.
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective classroom practice.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging, creative and inclusive lessons across the KS1 curriculum.
• Creating a positive classroom environment where pupils feel confident, valued and motivated to learn.
• Differentiating lessons and resources to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND.
• Supporting pupils to develop strong foundations in phonics, reading, writing and mathematics.
• Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to address learning gaps.
• Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider aims and values of the school.
• Promoting positive behaviour, independence and high expectations throughout the school day.
