Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting a KS1 PPA Teacher in Sefton (L20). This full-time role involves teaching across KS1 with a weekly timetable. It is a long-term placement starting in September, initially 8 weeks with a review.

You will join a supportive school focused on helping children respect and support one another, becoming a familiar face in a school where staffing and community matter.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS status and current classroom practice.
• Experience teaching in a school or education setting.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and safeguarding policies.
• Proven ability to manage behaviour and deliver engaging lessons.
• Excellent organisational skills for marking and lesson planning.

Responsibilities

KS1 PPA Teacher

We're currently recruiting for a KS1 PPA Teacher in Sefton (L20). This KS1 PPA Teacher role is full-time, and you will be teaching across KS1. You will be given a weekly timetable as to what class you will be in each day. This role is on a long-term basis starting in September and is a temporary role. The role will be initially 8 weeks and then reviewed

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Teaching the children in class and ensuring they complete their work to a high standard
• Guiding children through the curriculum, marking work and setting homework tasks
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons
• Upholding the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies
• Promoting an accepting, inclusive classroom where every student feels they belong

Requirements or Skills:

• A teaching qualification with QTS
• Recent teaching experience in a school or education setting
• Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• Exceptional organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
