Job summary

Aspire People Limited is recruiting an experienced Teaching Assistant based in Witton to support phonics and KS1 interventions. The role starts in October and runs through July 2027, with potential for extension if the school is a good fit.

You will help track pupil progress, support the class teacher, and contribute to an Ofsted-focused school, in a small, supportive team that values each child’s learning and self-esteem.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching phonics with KS1 pupils.
• Ability to plan and deliver targeted interventions.
• Support pupil progress tracking and communicate with teachers.

Responsibilities

• Teach phonics and provide KS1 interventions.
• Support the class teacher and contribute to lesson delivery.
• Track pupil progress and assist in early intervention planning.
