Job summary

Supply Desk Ltd. in partnership with a welcoming primary school in SL5 is seeking a KS1 Early Career Teacher (ECT) for a full-time role starting January.

The position offers structured induction, mentoring and ongoing professional development to help you build confidence. As a KS1 ECT you will plan and deliver engaging lessons, support reading, writing, phonics and maths, differentiating for all abilities, and work closely with teaching assistants and parents to foster a positive learning

Qualifications

• QTS or eligible for QTS; ECTs welcome to apply.
• Commitment to KS1 education and early literacy development.
• Willingness to develop phonics knowledge and early learning skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Support pupils’ early reading, writing, phonics, and maths.
• Create an inclusive, stimulating classroom environment.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress with mentor support.
• Differentiate learning to support all abilities, including those with SEN.
• Build relationships with parents, carers, and the wider school community.
