Job summary

Academics is seeking a KS1 Classroom Teaching Assistant to work on a flexible, temporary supply basis across Doncaster's primary schools. You will assist the class teacher with whole-class activities and targeted help for pupils in Years 1 and 2, promoting an engaging and safe learning environment.

Experience in a school or childcare setting is preferred; Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualifications are desirable, and an Enhanced DBS is expected or obtainable. Roles are ASAP with ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children within a school or childcare setting.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable.

Are you a caring and enthusiastic KS1 Classroom Teaching Assistant looking for flexible opportunities across Doncaster?

Academics, an established Education Agency, are acting as an agency and are recruiting a KS1 Classroom Teaching Assistant to work on a temporary, ongoing supply basis across a variety of welcoming primary schools throughout Doncaster.

This KS1 Classroom Teaching Assistant opportunity focuses on providing whole-class support within Key Stage 1 classrooms. Working as a KS1 Classroom Teaching Assistant in Doncaster, you will support teachers and pupils throughout Years 1 and 2, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Position: KS1 Classroom Teaching Assistant

Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire

Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply

Pay: £92.56 - £95 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)

About the Role

Working as a KS1 Classroom Teaching Assistant in Doncaster, you will provide general classroom support rather than being assigned solely to one pupil. You will work alongside the class teacher to help pupils access learning and remain engaged throughout the school day.
