Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 1 Class Teacher for a mainstream primary school in Skelmersdale (WN8). The role is full-time, fixed-term for the remainder of the academic year, starting October 2026. You will teach Year 1 or Year 2, delivering engaging lessons and working with the school team.

The school offers a supportive environment, CPD opportunities, and a competitive day-rate (£140-£260) with weekly pay. Experience in KS1, QTS or ECT, and phonics knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT.
• Recent KS1 teaching experience in a UK primary school.
• Strong knowledge of KS1 curriculum, assessment, and phonics.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated KS1 lessons.
• Assess and record pupil progress per school and national standards.
• Create an inclusive, positive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, TAs and support staff.
