Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline with QTS (required).
• Ability to assess student progress including statutory requirements.
• Strong communication with students, colleagues and families.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach engaging lessons with clear objectives, building on prior learning and challenging all students, including those with SEND.
• Adapt teaching to meet diverse needs and address misconceptions to develop conceptual understanding.
• Provide regular verbal and written feedback guiding progress and addressing gaps through re-teaching.
• Build a positive classroom culture with clear routines and high behaviour expectations.
• Collaborate with colleagues, pastoral staff and parents to support wellbeing and achievement; contribute to curriculum design, assessment planning and homework.
