KS1 Teacher – Sherborne

Salary: MPS – Paid to Scale
Contract Type: Full‑time, Spring Term
Start Date: 5 January 2026

An established and welcoming primary school in Sherborne is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Class Teacher to join its committed team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for high-quality teaching and learning, a strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum, and confidence in delivering phonics through Read Write Inc. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the needs of all pupils

Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Has proven experience teaching primary-aged pupils

• Possesses excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Is reflective, adaptable, and committed to ongoing professional development
