KS1 Teacher – Sherborne

Salary: MPS – Paid to Scale
Contract Type: Full‑time, Spring Term
Start Date: 5 January 2026

An established and welcoming primary school in Sherborne is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Class Teacher to join its committed team. This is an excellent opportunity for an inspirational practitioner who is keen to contribute to the continued success and development of a thriving school community. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for high-quality teaching and learning, a strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum, and confidence in delivering phonics through Read Write Inc. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to uphold the school’s culture of excellence and ensure every child reaches their full potential. The school places a strong emphasis on creating a warm, inclusive, and supportive environment where pupils can flourish. Key Responsibilities

Ideal Candidate
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Has proven experience teaching primary-aged pupils

  • Is reflective, adaptable, and committed to ongoing professional development
