The school is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable KS1 teacher to join their team from September. There may be a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

Your new role

1. Create, plan, and deliver engaging and interactive lessons across core KS1 subjects, including English, Maths, and Science, ensuring young learners remain engaged and motivated.
2. Follow the school's KS1 curriculum to maintain continuity in student learning, incorporating phonics, early reading strategies, and foundational numeracy skills.
3. Assess student progress and provide feedback, identifying areas for additional support and communicating insights with colleagues.
4. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, adjusting teaching approaches to meet the needs of KS1 learners, including those requiring additional support.

What you'll need to succeed

1. Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent, relevant teaching qualifications.
2. Experience in classroom management.
3. Excellent curriculum knowledge.
4. Strong communication skills.
