Job summary

Penningtons Manches Cooper LLP is seeking a Knowledge Paralegal to support Knowledge Lawyers in the Dispute Resolution Division. The role focuses on delivering knowledge and process improvements across DRD, with exposure to legal tech and AI tools.

You will assist with legal research, precedents development, and training programs while collaborating with central business teams to enhance service delivery for fee earners and clients.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification, minimum 2:1 (or equivalent).
• Experience in a law firm or professional services firm is desirable.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• IT literate with strong MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint) skills.
• Experience with or interest in legal technology (AI, document automation) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support Knowledge Lawyers in DRD with day-to-day tasks and knowledge strategy implementation.
• Respond to enquiries and provide timely updates on legal and market developments.
• Develop and maintain precedents and support automation of documents.
• Assist with delivery of legal training programmes and e-disclosure projects.
• Keep intranet resources up to date and support fee earners with technology tools.
• Support knowledge projects with business analysis and data management.
