Job summary

Ogier Legal Limited is seeking a Professional Support Lawyer for Banking & Finance and Corporate in London. You will produce Cayman precedents, client briefings and know-how, while disseminating regulatory changes to fee earners. Your role supports KM to enhance client service and leverage technology for efficiency.

You will handle precedent pipelines, keep content updated, deliver KM training, and promote AI-enabled workflows across the service lines.

Qualifications

• Qualified Cayman Islands corporate / banking and finance lawyer with at least 2 years’ PQE or equivalent legal qualification with appropriate post-qualification experience.
• LLB (Hons) from a reputable tertiary institution with a minimum grade of 2:1 (or equivalent).
• AI and legal technology experience desirable.
• Experience in private practice is expected.
• Good communication skills and excellent drafting ability.
• Some experience or knowledge of KM systems is advantageous.
• Enthusiasm for developing knowledge systems and improving access for the business.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Banking & Finance and Corporate precedents, practice notes and client briefings in collaboration with KM leadership and partners.
• Review procedures with partners to standardise transactions and map core service line processes.
• Keep up-to-date with service line and jurisdictional changes and update client materials accordingly.
• Manage knowledge collection and precedent pipelines and liaise with Partners and fee-earners.
• Maintain and review KM content on the Firm intranet.
• Deliver training on KM documents and practices to fee earners.
• Lead AI and legal technology adoption within the service line and maintain related workflows.
• Provide guidance on AI tool usage and governance with KM, IT and Risk teams.
