Job summary

Fladgate LLP in London is seeking a Knowledge Lawyer specialized in private client and tax to join the firm’s new Knowledge department. You will lead knowledge content, precedents and training for fee-earners, shaping how we deliver advice and use technology.

You will support the Private Client team and wider PC&T practice, monitor developments, design AI-driven workflows and document automation, and mentor colleagues while driving innovation across the firm.

Qualifications

• Solicitor qualified in England & Wales required.
• Private Client PQE with six years at a leading firm preferred.
• STEP qualification desirable.
• Excellent drafting skills and ability to distill complex issues.
• Strong research skills and attention to detail.
• Commercial, client-focused mindset with a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge content, precedents, templates and resources.
• Monitor legal/regulatory developments and provide updates to fee-earners.
• Design and deliver training for lawyers at all levels.
• Lead knowledge initiatives including new KM system and playbooks.
• Support thought leadership, business development and client alerts.
• Design and implement legal technology, automation and AI to improve delivery.
