Job summary

Capgemini London is seeking an experienced AI Data/Graph Engineer to design and operate the knowledge graph powering our regulated claims and payments platform. You will collaborate with platform teams and client estates in a hybrid setup combining offices, client sites, and remote work.

You will own ontology, graph pipelines, embeddings, and retrieval, ensuring data governance, security, and scalable performance. The role emphasizes production readiness and measurable improvements in AI tooling.

Qualifications

• Production data engineering with Python, SQL, and a pipeline orchestrator.
• Graph modeling including ontology and schema for knowledge graphs.
• Experience with retrieval systems for AI workloads and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the knowledge graph in production with ontologies and pipelines.
• Develop graph retrieval capabilities and query performance under load.
• Own end-to-end retrieval stack including embeddings, vector stores, and reranking.
• Create data pipelines from client systems with quality checks and alerts.
• Maintain an immutable audit trail and access controls for multi-tenant data.
