Job summary

John Sisk & Son is seeking a Knowledge Manager (Communities & Innovation) to lead knowledge sharing across the group, develop frameworks, and promote collaboration between disciplines and regions.

You will coordinate Communities of Practice, run webinars and events, and manage the Irish R&D Tax Credit process, building networks, capturing innovations, and strengthening the organisation's knowledge-sharing culture.

Qualifications

• Essential: strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
• Essential: ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Essential: strong organisational and project coordination skills.
• Essential: experience developing or managing Communities of Practice, knowledge-sharing networks or collaborative programmes.
• Essential: experience planning and facilitating workshops, webinars and collaborative events.
• Essential: experience developing and implementing organisational or departmental strategies or programmes.
• Essential: excellent writing, communication and storytelling skills.
• Essential: experience working in construction, infrastructure, engineering or related project-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop frameworks and processes to facilitate the exchange of tacit knowledge.
• Identify barriers to knowledge sharing and develop interventions.
• Monitor and report on knowledge-sharing maturity and engagement across the business.
• Develop and lead a Communities of Practice (CoP) strategy across the organisation.
• Establish new CoP aligned to business priorities and support Community Leaders.
• Create frameworks, guidance and resources to keep communities sustainable.
• Facilitate collaboration between communities to reduce duplication and increase knowledge transfer.
• Measure and report on community engagement, participation and outcomes.
• Coordinate knowledge-sharing activities, webinars and workshops across the Group.
• Support the Knowledge Sharing Network and related forums.
• Organise events connecting employees with expertise.
• Support subject matter experts in sharing knowledge through appropriate formats and channels.
• Coordinate Irish R&D Tax Credit process with external consultants and internal stakeholders, including scheduling interviews, tracking milestones and deadlines.
