Job Description:

The Knitwear Technologist at COS will focus on creating perfect fit garments while maintaining high-quality standards. You will lead the technical aspects of product development from sketch to production, ensuring alignment with design and buying teams.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Interpreting and realizing the designer’s vision from sketch to final sample.
  2. Achieving optimal fit and quality for the department.
  3. Securing product development in Menswear Knitwear, focusing on fit, size, function, quality, and construction.
  4. Collaborating with designers through mock-ups, 3D prototyping, and other creative solutions.
  5. Creating and advising on knitwear tech packs, considering yarns, gauges, stitches, and production methods.
  6. Providing technical advice to ensure production practicality and clarity of artwork.
  7. Supporting creative development by proposing new techniques and silhouettes.
  8. Managing measurement lists, grading, and ensuring consistency.
  9. Guiding fittings from a technical perspective, driving fit and construction improvements.
  10. Participating in handovers, taking detailed notes, and guiding the team technically.
  11. Driving projects, delegating tasks, and following up.
  12. Working efficiently with PLM systems, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Office.
  13. Participating in meetings to stay aligned with customer needs.
Qualifications:
