Job summary

NHS Grampian is seeking a Band 5 Community Mental Health Nurse to provide essential care for patients within the Older Adults Mental Health Directorate in Fraserburgh. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated practitioner with strong assessment skills and experience working with older adults. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting patients with functional illnesses across a large catchment area.

Qualifications

Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Community Mental Health Nurse to work within the Older Adults Mental Health Directorate.

The post is based in Aberdeenshire North CMHT, providing care for patients with functional illnesses referred from GP practices in a large catchment area covering Fraserburgh.

We seek a motivated, skilled practitioner with good assessment skills, the ability to work as part of a team, and experience in multi-agency working. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working with older adults with functional and organic illnesses.

The successful candidate will manage a caseload under the supervision of the Team Leader/Deputy Team Leader. Requirements include being a Registered Mental Health Nurse and owning a car.
